July 26th (Saturday) Sandy Pines 9 Holes Couples Shuffle

This year we have put together a fun filled event called the Sandy Pines 9 Holes Couples Shuffle. This event will be a social event that we encourage couples from the area to come out and join us for a 9 hole scramble, cookout, and entertainment from our local DJ. This event is designed for couples to get away for the night and to enjoy the beauty of the golf course. This will be a great way to meet new people and while two stepping it with our DJ.

August 15th (Saturday) Sandy Pines 9 Holes Couples Shuffle - 4:30pm Start

This year we have put together a fun filled event called the Sandy Pines 9 Holes Couples Shuffle. This event will be a social event that we encourage couples from the area to come out and join us for a 9 hole scramble, cookout, and entertainment from our local DJ. This event is designed for couples to get away for the night and to enjoy the beauty of the golf course. This will be a great way to meet new people and while two stepping it with our DJ.

October 10th (Saturday) Fall Classic 4-Person Scramble

Sandy Pines Golf Club would like to invite you to play in this year’s 3rd Annual Men’s Fall Classic. This year’s Men’s Fall Classic will be limited to 20 (4 man) teams and the event will be a 4 person scramble format (ABCD). Teams will be divided evenly by Brad in the Pro Shop. Anyone wishing to play in this event will need to be signed up by Thursday, October 8th. Please submit your handicap index when signing up. Sign up will be posted as we get closer to the event in Jim’s Café.

October 25th (Sunday) Chili Bowl Scramble

This year’s Chili Bowl Scramble is going to be a 4 person scramble where we will have the course tricked up for your likings. This event will feature tee boxes in different areas and pins hard to get at but most importantly great golf shots will help your team pull into victory. We will serve chili and sub sandwiches after the conclusion of golf. This will be one event to look forward too. Sign up will be in Jim’s Café.

2009 Men’s Cup Team Qualifiers

Qualifier’s for the cup matches are for Sandy Pines Golf Club members only! You must be (21 or older to play). We will have 8 qualifiers for you to post 3 scores as your qualifying scores. You may play in all 8 but we will only take your three lowest qualifying scores. The twelve lowest individuals will make up the 2009 Ryder Cup team. Qualifiers can be done anytime on the following days but you must play with at least 1 other player that is trying to qualify.

2009 Club Championship Match Play Event

The Match Play for the Club Championship will start on Monday July 20th. You must sign “the do not wish to play list” if you are not wishing to participate this year. You will be signed up according to handicap in our handicap computer. This is why it’s very important that you post all your scores when playing. You must be in our handicap computer in order to play in this year’s Club Championship.

2009 Sandy Pines Stroke Play Event
